Chandon Vintage Brut is a fine elegant sparkling produced from grapes sourced from multiple cool-climate regions, with a slant towards quality Yarra Valley fruit. A reductive, flinty aroma overlays quince, nashi pear, pine nut, citrus blossom and lemon zest. Toasty brioche and chalky mineral aromas present in the background. An excellent palate, with primary fruits of tangy lemon and kaffir lime, backed up by secondary flavours of fresh pastry. Tightly wound acidity with remarkable freshness.Tasting Notes
Youthful and vibrant flavours with subtle complexity. Chandon Vintage Brut 2017 is the Australian way of life, lovingly bottled. Sourced from our Strathbogie and King Valley vineyards, the Chardonnay grapes highlight the lime and green apple aromas, while the Pinot Noir and Meunier grapes bring home the pomegranate and pink grapefruit. The spritely freshness and white flower aromas are all thanks to the use of slightly younger yeast. On the palate, lime and green apple notes make a reappearance, while hazelnut praline, biscuit and fresh dough give it a bit of extra body. Chandon Vintage Brut 2016 is best served a little more on the casual side: in a wine glass instead of a flute, and with fresh fish and chips by the seaside with your mates.Product Details
